This website design was outdated and the user experience needed improvement. We started the rebuild on a subdomain, added some great stock photography, and the result was a very nice transformation.
Rebuilding LionfishHunters.org took several months. The existing site had a vast amount of information on it, and it had to be reorganized, to ensure a better user experience and promote Search Engine Optimization. Since this client is very busy in the field, I rebuilt the site independently, checking in with the client and his assistant occasionally.
A funny note – at first glance I assumed that the site’s premise, “hunting” lionfish, was about people searching for an elusive creature, because it’s such a beautiful fish. While it is beautiful, the lionfish is venomous, and is destroying ocean reefs, and therefore hunted with the hope of eliminating it from Florida waters. Nevertheless, I was mesmerized by the lionfish’ astounding beauty, and learning about it captivated me from start to finish. LionfishHunters.org is one of my most memorable rebuilds!
